The recipes in this blog are frequently requested by family and friends. I started the blog to collect our favorite recipes for others and also to personally have easy access to them. We have over 400 cookbooks and it can be challenging to find an old favorite.
We cook together frequently and love to entertain. My initial goal was to share, on approximately a weekly basis, at least one of our favorite recipes. As of November 2012, I had posted over 100 favorites. I will continue to post our favorite recipes about twice a month or more frequently as time allows.
Remember to adjust these recipes to your taste and to taste the final product while cooking and before serving. Add more salt or use less spices depending on your preferences, taste, and allergies. There is a garlic allergy in our family and you will find that I often substitute shallots in place of garlic.
