This dressing is simple to make and you can vary it based on the seasonings that you like. Leave out the dill and add another favorite seasoning such as thyme.
1 cup buttermilk
2 Tablespoons dried parsley
2 Tablespoons dried minced onion
¼ teaspoon dry basil
¼ teaspoon oregano
¼ teaspoon rosemary
¼ teaspoon dill
Combine the above ingredients and let stand for 5 minutes.
Then beat in 1 cup mayonnaise with a wire whisk. Season dressing with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Cover and chill.
