It has been cold the last few weeks. We made dinner for friends and it was perfect for the cold weather. The recipes are in this blog.
We made the Chili Dilly recipe (see Beef, Oct. 2011) and it makes enough for leftovers.
The cornbread onion “pie” was a good side dish (see Vegetable, Jan. 2011).
A green salad with the vinaigrette in this blog (see Salad, Jan. 2011) rounded out the main meal.
These recipes were posted a few years ago because they have been favorites for over a decade. The cornbread onion pie sounds weird but it is yummy and is always a hit with our guests.
