Broccoli (good for calcium and health)

Broccoli is high in calcium and with the addition of dried berries is delicious and healthy.

1 head of broccoli
1 Tablespoon butter
1 Tablespoon olive oil
2 shallots, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
2 Tablespoons dried mix berries or craisins (dried cranberries) or raisins
1 Tablespoon pine nuts or pecans or nut of choice, chopped coarsely
1 – 2 teaspoons lemon juice (optional)

Slice the broccoli flowerets and tender parts of the stem into small pieces. Sauté the broccoli in the butter and olive oil until it is almost tender. Add shallots, salt, and pepper and sauté for 2-3 minutes longer. Add berries or craisins and sauté another minute. Add nuts and stir well. Taste and add a small amount of lemon juice to taste.

Serves ~ 4
