Pork Steaks, Broiled or Grilled

Pork Steaks are cut from the butt area and are tender with a little more fat than the pork chop. This makes them tastier and not as dry when cooked. If you prefer pork chops, they can be made this way also. Serve with a salad and vegetable of choice and you have dinner.

~ 2-3 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
2 – 4 Pork Steaks (depending on size of steak and number of servings needed)

Place the pork steaks on a flat dish and prick the meat with a fork on both sides. Pour the Worcestershire Sauce over the pork steaks and turn pieces to coat on both sides. Let steaks marinate for ~ 20 minutes on one side and then turn to the other side for an additional 10 minutes or more, depending on the time that you have.

Drain the pork steaks and place on the broiling pan. Cook the pork steaks in the oven under the broiler until they are lightly browned and then turn over to broil the other side. Be sure to watch meat so that it doesn’t burn or get over cooked. Most of the fat drains into the broiler pan and the steaks will be tender.
