Baked Cabbage

This is a recipe from my mother-in-law. You can bake it while you prepare the rest of dinner. To spice it up a bit, use ¼ tsp of dill or about ½ teaspoon of fennel seeds.

2 ½ quarts cabbage, chopped
½ cup melted butter
2 cup milk
¼ cup flour
1 ½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
Additional spices as desired

Mix together and bake in a dish covered with aluminum foil for 20 – 30 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until cabbage is cooked.

Serves ~ 6.
