This is easy, nutritious, and delicious. It is side dish that goes well with chicken, duck, steak, pork etc. and is healthy.
1 package (500 g.) Trader Joe’s Steamed Lentils (in the refrigerator section)
2 carrots grated
2-3 green onions thinly sliced
2-3 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar (or more if desired)
Salt and pepper to taste
Cut open the package and place the lentils in a skillet. Add the carrots and green onions and heat the lentils, carrots and green onions until they are hot. Add the balsamic vinegar and stir into the lentils. Add salt and pepper to desired level.
